Staying Hydrated

We have all heard that you should make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Ever ask yourself why? What effects does water have on the body anyway?
Effects of water on the body:
-Regulation of body temperature
-Detoxification
-Helps regulate metabolism
-maintain kidney health

The recommended water intake is about eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day. The important thing to note is that this recommendation is for water only. Drinking coffee or soda's does not count toward this eight 8 ounce cups of water count.
